This work connects to ideas around the African Cosmos and Divination. I was interested in exploring the legacy of the creation of the African Diaspora through the act of colonialism combining motifs around voyage and space in order to have these two figures engaged in a dialogue around cultural lineage and retrieval of ancient knowledge. The Seeker actively engaging with the Knowledge Keeper in order to retrieve that which extends beyond the boundaries of time....
